Barcelona secured their first La Liga win of the season with a historic victory over Real Betis on Sunday, thanks to two goals from Ferran Torres.
The Spanish forward scored twice as Barca ran out 4-1 winners at home, securing their fourth straight win and moving them up to third place in the table.
Torres' first goal came early in the second half, after he was introduced as a substitute. The 22-year-old showed his pace and skill, racing past his marker before slotting the ball past the keeper.
His second goal came late on,La Liga Frontline following a counterattack that saw him cut inside and finish calmly from close range.
Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman praised Torres' performance, saying: "He's a player who works hard and has good quality."
"It's important to get the three points but it's also important to see the qualities of our players," he added.
It was a well-deserved win for Barca, who have struggled to find form this season. However, they remain in contention for a top-four spot and will be looking to build on this result against Espanyol next weekend.
